Known as the Gold Eye Artist from Paris, Pascale Taurua’s artistic story is one of inspiration and resilience – having lost sight in one eye after a serious car accident, and experiencing trauma as a young teenager, her trauma is woven into the fabric of her work and made beautiful.

Despite her visual impairment Taurua’s artistic vision shines – producing provocative pieces giving insight into subjects including female beauty, social conventions, self-perception, and expression, that are celebrated across the world.
